Pat Curley is one of Hobart’s most accomplished blues players. He’s a musician, a teacher, a blues historian and storyteller, taking you on a journey from the deep south through to the early days of rock’n’roll and the classic rock of the 1960’s and 70’s. Acoustic or electric, slide or standard, solo or with the band, always authentic.
His current project is a show/event/immersive experience tracing the pre-history of Rock’n’Roll, from the cotton fields in the American south to the big cities in the north, and eventually the whole world. Join in on some of the old field hollers and early spirituals that saw the birth of the blues and get your dancing shoes on ready for the band to kick into gear later on.
